For as long as I can remember, music and radio were two of my passions – I love the feeling of satisfaction knowing the songs I am playing are filling the “dance floor” whether I was a teenager on my parents’ patio or last weekend at a banquet hall.
After volunteering with CHMR FM during university I figured radio was my chosen career; and it was from 1992-1998 that I worked with Newcap Broadcasting as a DJ on 99.1 FM and 930 AM. Computers began to replace DJs in 1996 and I was automated out of a job and moved on to telecommunications. Fortunately it was during these radio years where I was able to further enhance my music knowledge and my mobile disc jockey business began to flourish.
Long before the days of mp3s or streaming music I built my music library one CD at a time, and the bookings began rolling in! Over the years I have resisted the pressure of having multiple systems and DJs operate under my banner as exceptional customer service is so important to me. When I receive a booking, it’s me that’s working with you leading up to your wedding day. And I’m the guy in the shirt and tie responsible for playing the music at your reception.
