About the girl: I photograph the world with a sense of joy, with my images full of bright colours and lots of emotion. I have been trained by some of the best in the world in posing and directing all people, but especially women, so that they look the most beautiful at the most flattering angles. The photos you see from me are generally silly or sweet, focusing on the little moments – wiping a tear from dad’s cheek; hugging your brand-spankin-new husband the minute you walk out of the church together; laughing your heart out on the dance floor with your best friends. I light up inside when I’m able to capture love – plain and simple.
About the guy: A quiet thinker, Alex Spracklin is awesome at capturing the big picture moments – whether that means standing on the roof of the venue to get the birds eye view of your outdoor ceremony, or hiking the coast line to get that perfect shot of you walking hand and hand along the beach, he hangs on the perimeter, waiting and watching, camera at the ready for the big-picture moments that are happening around you. His photos are often larger than life, images that you want to stare at for a while and unfold.
Together, our style is photo-journalistic in nature – you just do your thing and we will discretely capture the moments that are happening around you, the big and small; the intimate moments and the big love that is your wedding day. Of course, there is always a time allotted for a beautiful posed portrait session with your new spouse, family, and closest friends. We have some secret ninja skills that make even these ‘formal’ photos feel more like a fun gathering of your favorite people (who all happen to be looking fabulous).
